I share a van with a union member who is a breaker!!! However, I would rather work in an office with a friendly atmosphere. Yes, I`m disappointed with breakers, but everyone has their own financial circumstances with young families and other responsibilities. My van partner is back on Tuesday after a 2 week holiday, a Caribbean cruise, no less. He admitted that he likes money and spending it. To each his own.

Seems you have more of a problem with a guy going on holiday than a union member breaking a strike
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Great another manager on here.
How is he another manager? (Breaking one of the rules of the site but never mind eh)
Shouldn't anyone be able to go to work without the fear of being bullied?
Isn't that what our trade union believes?
When I was at Royal mail we used to find the strike breakers started to become managers a few months after the strikes had finished

How they vote in a GE affects the effectiveness of the strike?
You decide whether or not to support strike action? So much for the concept of workers' solidarity.
Strange logic on show.
Yeah,a trade unionist voting for a party in the GE that is totally opposed to the trade union movement isn’t weird at all,is it? Give me strength :arrrghhh

More like a union member scabbing because he’s petrified of losing some of his creature comforts doesn’t quite sit right with a lot of people?

There’s a lad at ours, part time & 6-day a week docket chaser. He was openly boasting to me the other week about how much cash he was making, hoovering up the ghost OT after strike days.

Now it has all been stopped how’s talking about crossing the picket line

He’s fairly new in the job & this is his first taste of industrial action

All was rosy in the garden when he wasn’t hit financially, but the moment it has started to affect him,his arse has gone & he’s raised the white flag

I’m a bit embarrassed for him really

Heard some that are gonna be breaking the strike laughing about taking the 23/24th Dec off as it will make for a longer Christmas holiday. They just don’t get it !
