28 Days Policy

Post by gurpbarnes6 »

Hi,

Can some please explain how the 28 days rule of having to be in contact with your Angard shift consultant operates i.e. is it you have to be in contact within the next 28 days of having last contatced your consultant or last work or is it from the date you got paid?

Thanks.

u have to have worked,, angard r a joke i work in northern ireland i sould of been working this last 3 weeks but i have been waiting on the secruity checks back because of the 28 days,,, i rang up to tell them that the 28 days was nearly up so that i could work on and the girl on the phone said that there is no problem that when i get the phone call to work after the 28 days that i can just go to work as normal ,,,, low and behold phone call comes for me to go in for xmas i do 1 day and angard ring to say that i have to do the checks that take 2-3 weeks to come back as clear so i did because i had to get back to work , but i missed out on 3 weeks of work shocking ANGARD

nothingatthemoment wrote:Angard make up their own rules I have known people who have had no shifts for 2 months still get shifts. It is also Illegal for them to do this with AWR qualified (those that have completed 12 weeks) as there has to be a gap of 6 weeks. They have no concern about the welfare of their agency staff as their attitude is that they can always be replaced.
