hello whoever reads this very quickly, i broke my leg 2nyt playing football, when i ring up in the morning what do i do? and the vital question is will i still get paid while im off, ive been here 18 months now so im entitled to sick pay i think. thank you in advance !!

Phone up and tell them you broke your leg. Then expect a muppet from ATOS who has no medical knowledge whatsoever to phone you up and tell you after a brief chat that there's nothing wrong with you and your fit to return to work.

You'll then get sent out on delivery in a wheelchair dragging a broken HCT behind you




Only kidding ;) Don't stress over it, ring work tomorrow morning and just explain what's happened then focus on getting better.

Yes once you have done 12 months then you get full entitlement.

Remember with a broken leg you will need a "Fit to work" note from the Hospital or own Doctors detailing what if anything you can do. Also ATOS should contact you and should also help arrange a return to work plan,or rehabiltation plan, it might be worth having a word with the Physioterrorist (you'll understand when you start seeing one ) so they can discuss issues with you or ATOS.

If management try anything on make sure your Rep is kept in the loop especially anything affecting pay or rehab.
