Hi , I'm Section C member (rmsps & rmpp) (retired a year ago).
What is the annual pension increase based on , is it the CPI or RPI inflation rate in September?
Also, am I right in saying that it's capped at 5% so even if the inflation rate was, for example , 10% , your pension would only increase by 5%?

Section C pensioners is RPI capped at 5%.
Section A/B pensioners is CPI capped at 5%.
Section A/B pensioners is CPI capped at 5%.

when does this increase kick in ? and will pensioners benefit if there is a positive financial ending to the current dispute ?

Increases in RM pensions apply from each April, but using the inflation figures from the previous September.
The current dispute won't affect RM pensioners at all.
