Annual pension increase

Post by TheStrangler »

Hi , I'm Section C member (rmsps & rmpp) (retired a year ago).
What is the annual pension increase based on , is it the CPI or RPI inflation rate in September?
Also, am I right in saying that it's capped at 5% so even if the inflation rate was, for example , 10% , your pension would only increase by 5%?
Thanks in advance.

Increases in RM pensions apply from each April, but using the inflation figures from the previous September.

The current dispute won't affect RM pensioners at all.
