Monday Yellow 3 days mail 1/3 of door to doors
Tuesday Blue 3 days mail 50% of door to doors
Wednesday yellow 2 days mail 1/3 of door to doors
Thursday blue 2 days mail 50% of door to doors
Friday yellow 2 days mail 1/3 of door to doors
Saturday first class and tracked on yellow and blue.

Not sure how this deals with fatigue?
Probably because in my office the walks will be 50% of their current size for it to work. Less walking.

Yes they have to put in more walks for it to work, which they do say will happen. We’ll see.

Don’t worry, you’ll have the guys on a singleton duty who are coming to the rescue.
Two problems with that - firstly the time saved by only doing 50% all items and 50% premium on a singleton might be so small that it’s not worth driving to another area to help.
And secondly, the instant that people are told to help out the brakes will come on.
Also we have no singleton duties. :chuckle
They'll send a singleton driver over from a neighbouring office

How many out of the 3 in 4 persons have to be able to drive, also will non drivers constantly be taking out double mail?

This is so confusing 🤯🤯🤯
2 out of 3 need to drive.

Non drivers will be 2-3 days mail on Mon-Fri but like everyone else, Tracked and 1C only on Saturdays.

If this comes in does it mean we will have the same start and finish time Monday to fridays?
Rather than shorter monday/Tuesdays and longer Wed to Fridays? I've not included Saturdays in this as we are pushing for earlier finishes apparently.

Somewhere there's a list of possible duty times. A bit like the original ODM the office votes on the attendance pattern. The ones I looked at had all different times, each day being a different length and indeed each week being a different number of hours from 32 to 40 something.

So that would mean doubling the walk number to then go 4 into 3. I'm no mathematicianisk but won't that mean the office spending more on resources then before?

Also I think I've just worked out what the DM stands for, double mail!

Big deal! If there are still about 1400 delivery offices, that's an average of 2.5 extra walks per office. I can't see that making much difference, when having to deliver 2 or 3 days of mail on each walk, Monday to Friday.

Seems a few offices have been given the nod that THEY are getting lots of walks put back in. I would hold fire with those thoughts.

CWU head office now peppering their facebook page with comms.

No more ODM!! (We never had it).
Celebrating this new model (DM26) because it is based on THEIR suggestion of Heavy and Light.

No, it's based on ODM. 3 people doing 4 duties over a week.
Are people really falling for this switcharoo?
