Probably because in my office the walks will be 50% of their current size for it to work. Less walking.Sbutts8182 wrote: ↑Today, 14:53Monday Yellow 3 days mail 1/3 of door to doors

Not sure how this deals with fatigue?

Yes they have to put in more walks for it to work, which they do say will happen. We’ll see.

They'll send a singleton driver over from a neighbouring officeRve83ndxd wrote: ↑Today, 15:00Also we have no singleton duties.Perseus wrote: ↑Today, 11:59Don’t worry, you’ll have the guys on a singleton duty who are coming to the rescue.
Two problems with that - firstly the time saved by only doing 50% all items and 50% premium on a singleton might be so small that it’s not worth driving to another area to help.
And secondly, the instant that people are told to help out the brakes will come on.![]()

Non drivers will be 2-3 days mail on Mon-Fri but like everyone else, Tracked and 1C only on Saturdays.

If this comes in does it mean we will have the same start and finish time Monday to fridays?
Rather than shorter monday/Tuesdays and longer Wed to Fridays? I've not included Saturdays in this as we are pushing for earlier finishes apparently.

Somewhere there's a list of possible duty times. A bit like the original ODM the office votes on the attendance pattern. The ones I looked at had all different times, each day being a different length and indeed each week being a different number of hours from 32 to 40 something.postmanplod69 wrote: ↑Today, 16:25If this comes in does it mean we will have the same start and finish time Monday to fridays?

So that would mean doubling the walk number to then go 4 into 3. I'm no mathematicianisk but won't that mean the office spending more on resources then before?Rve83ndxd wrote: ↑Today, 15:03Probably because in my office the walks will be 50% of their current size for it to work. Also I think I've just worked out what the DM stands for, double mail!

Reading through this thread made my tiny brain hurt !
Ahhh the good old days of coming in throwing in a frame and going out.
What an over complicated mess we are now in.
Have fun everybody !!
We are being run by idiots but that is an insult to idiots.

Seems a few offices have been given the nod that THEY are getting lots of walks put back in. I would hold fire with those thoughts.

CWU head office now peppering their facebook page with comms.
No more ODM!! (We never had it).
Celebrating this new model (DM26) because it is based on THEIR suggestion of Heavy and Light.
No, it's based on ODM. 3 people doing 4 duties over a week.
Are people really falling for this switcharoo?
