The basic fact is that most people want more money in their pockets and this deal delivers that. Many people deep down probably aren’t to bothered starting an hour later and the sick pay part probably doesn’t affect them to much either.
I don’t like much of the deal and if I do vote yes it will be with gritted teeth. For many the two lumps sums will sway them to vote yes.

I think that would be pretty clear by the amount of times I have been insulted on here. People who have the decency to reach more than double digits in their post history before doing so too.
I normally just browse and take an interest in what others are saying but recently there have been a few who seem to be making comments just to go against the grain and wind others up.
I certainly shall!!! I'm not going to waste time on someone who likes to have the last word.

I’m still undecided, though tbh I’m more inclined to vote no right now. I’m not swayed by the money bonuses at all - these lump sums barely cover the money we lost during the strikes. Only now the job itself will be a lot worse. I’m not just unhappy about a lot of aspects of the deal itself, but also in the way the union has handled this whole debacle. Have lost faith in the union and Dave Ward.

There aren’t that many people on this site. Those that wish to vote have done so. It is why the result is not in the least scientific and is doubtful to be anything close to the actual result.
