It’s something I thought about, I get the redundancy payout that’s 6k plus 22 weeks pay. I could pay chunk off mortgage and then reapply to Royal Mail or agency.
How do they have all this money to get rid of people?! Clearly to bring in new workers on s**t contracts which makes me feel if i stay eventually they will say sorry don’t need you anymore unless you sign nee contract, so may a well apply for the vr now.

If taking redundancy, 2 yr gap to come back to royal mail, unless you come via the back door as agency then you could be back in 2 weeks.
