I'm just waiting for Simon Thompson to get his golden handshake and then I'll be applying for CEO of RM!

Apparently all you need to do is screw the work force over for a year and then they give you millions to leave! Money for old rope! :nana
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

I have had 2 not firm offers.

After 36 years I have had enough.

I am sick to death of all the crap.

Something that used to be very special is being destroyed.

There’s plenty of driving jobs out there, so I’ll look for one of those. I will wait first though for a redundancy package, but I’ve only been at RM for 17 months, so not sure if it will be available.

I’m currently doing a level 4 Diploma in finance. A long way from finishing but will be happy to get a Monday to Friday now. Have young kids so will be nice to have weekends with them. If Royal Mail is going later start and later finish then I might as well do that in an office. After 21 years with the company I think it’s time to go

Leaving next week and going into to a wfh customer service job, 9 to 5 and no weekend working. Been at royal mail for nearly 5 yrs and had some truly atrocious managers in that time. Decided to leave as just fed up with it all.

Left three weeks ago to train as an LGV driver for a supermarket.

Free hot meals over winter and free gym which I actually have energy to use now I’ve left RM. Glad I made the decision to leave after 11 years at RM.
