I believe that only applies to the profit made from Royal Mail and not GLS, so I think a dividend can be paid out of any profit GLS make.

Correct chicken, unless we have had an unprecedented Christmas, and all of a sudden the money is available for a dividend payout this year. Although in hindsight this money should be ploughed back into the business we can all see that massive investments are needed in the company, and maybe a tad more increase in our wages April, for achieving this outcome!

Before any future dividend is paid, a profit share must be given to the employees. It’s in the recent agreement is it not?

The first 20% of RM profits to be shared amongst employees. RM can make a loss, so no employee share, and a dividend still paid to share holders based on the Group performance.

RM has to make profit for that to happen, not IDS.
