You'll still get a long weekend, sat off then Monday off, following week Tuesday off etc...

Our office is going through a revision again due to the parcel hubs. This is being done by the DOM/COM with no imput from the union rep and word is that our start and finish times are being brought forward, so the planned Execitive Action related to the parcel hubs is going ahead at speed. I take it this is happening in all or most offices?

Only a matter of time then until it all goes tits up . I dread to think what a shitshow it will be come November and December. The service is bad enough now and quite frankly embarrassing.

quite frankly they don't give a toss about letters and despite posting fake letters of nhs letters getting prioritised on social media they'll let it build up
if on strike days then they'll take complaints about whatever tracked/specials are failed and get them delivered asap
the cwu won't go down the route of an overtime ban simply because they won't get a yes vote if balloted, even though every single postie knows it would cripple RM within 1 day but too many rely on overtime to exist, if or when we lose this fight or settle for an inferior deal than what we want there will be only 2 people to blame, tp&dw which will probably be the end of the union in my eyes if this does happen

2) hope that RM / your manager will be gracious enough to honour pre-booked leave

All of us in MCs and RDCs effectively won't get any say as we're outnumbered by DO staff by 3 to 1, maybe now by 4 to 1. Any crap deal will effectively be voted in our out by just DO staff.
