Now that I've seen all those photos of how well the Managers, and Strke Breakers, are coping I've totally changed my attitude to Striking, and I think I won't bother striking in future (Sarcastic Font)

cos they want out and delivered some parcels and did some post box collections? try doing that 5 days a week...with the mail...walking 10 miles+ a day...being pressured to go over time...365 days a year.


The whole of next week is going to be a mess. The backlog will be insane and this is just a 2 day strike. The 19 day rolling strikes will be a complete and utter nightmare for Royal Mail, just the thought of it is probably making line managers want to quit.

I love these posts by managers on workplace. They are effectively motivational posts on behalf of the CWU. They simply galvanise the membership in their action against the RM leadership.

TBF when you're facing uphill you turn your wheel away from the kerb (which is what appears to be the case in the picture) as
per the SOP, this means that if the van starts to roll backwards the front end of the van will hit the kerb first hopefully stopping it in its tracks.

When you face downhill then you turn into the kerb and the same effect should occur.
