In my opinion why would anybody be bothered how many duties the revision teams are taking out of any offices unless staff are going to lose their jobs which will not happen, clocking in and out machines fitted by end of october people need to realize if you cannot complete your duty without killing yourself book overtime or bring the work back to the office what is the problem.

So what happens when you can’t finish I’ve heard you can’t cut off and you stay out and bank the hours,does this mean come the end of the year you’ve banked 200 hours do they owe you 5 weeks+ time off

You’ll be paid.

In other industries this would be called illegal compulsory overtime.

We’re about 6-7 FT jobs down/short in ours, and about a month ago they said they wanted to take 100’s of hours out the office… Rep and manager told them straight and they backpeddled slightly, now only want to take about 40 out

Why wouldn't you be able to cut off? They can't force you to do overtime, just work your set hours for the day.

Yes I get the working longer when busier, shorter when quieter etc..
However even the longer days will have to have a start and finish time.

The whole commit to deliver idea is flawed to the extreme.

Part time staff will be wide open to be given a full time amount of work, i.e. unprepped duty on arrival, take it out, you'll be fine, no overtime.

When I started in early 1996 there were people coming in early, and when I left in early 2021 there were still people coming in early. What I cannot understand is, that back in 1996 it was job and finish so coming in earlier meant you finished earlier.

Now you have to work to your time....it defies any form of common sense why they still do it, but then slag off the very company they perform free labour for......

Because, like the saying goes, You can't educate pork.

They'd sell their souls for the chance to finish 10 minutes early.

It is chaos now imagine the utter shambles it will be all over if/when they bring all this s**t in...while slashing hours like there is no tomorrow
It will be a disaster and so open to abuse and bullying that thousands will leave...which is what they want anyway
