Ignorance on my part but the 1450 club?!
1450 COMs have already taken part in the D2D upskilling course.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

After you have your structured revision they will all be going in on Monday and you warm call throughout the week.
That is the spec.
Didn’t last longer than a day at ours.

Prepping your d2ds the day before is like starting 30 mins before your time for free, it makes your duty seem easier than it really is

But if you're directed by your condom to work up to your time by putting in tomorrow's D2D or another frames D2D's (a reasonable instruction)
what's your options then?

Well you do as instructed if your still on works time, it's not the same as doing it off your own back which is what I suppose I assumed and perhaps shouldnt have .Getting back early off delivery is a rare thing indeed these days

I have trouble prepping one in the frame just isn’t the time to do them unless your an early bird
Start on time, not earlier. Put your d2d’s in for that day. Then cut off or claim o/t if you think you will go over. :hmmmm

Every week I send back around 100 D2Ds as they’re incorrectly assigned as residential delivery points when they are in fact businesses so don’t receive D2Ds (unless it’s dominos leaflets). Many times have I told a manager but they don’t give a s**t…

Think our manager did this course. He has since told us even if we have been to every house if we have some left over we have to start going around again

No good whatsoever tellng your DOM, tell your A Plus admin person as they can easily change those addresses from residential to business, that will filter through and update the D2D count as well within a couple of weeks.

It's really very simple folks.

When you get back to the office, prep in your D2D's for tomorrow or two/three columns or whatever until you reach your duty finish time. Then go home and when you come back tomorrow your D2D's are already in the frame.
:Applause :Applause :Applause
and if you get back at your finish time ??

Out of interest, is that 11min per D2D per column? 2 D2D's would require 22mins per column?
No Mate that's 11 mins per column (in my case pre Revision) regardless of how many Households.( Remember Max of 6 Household contracts). So some weeks you're faster other weeks it takes longer. I didn't believe the DOM when he told me so I timed myself .... it was about right! :d'oh!

The advantage of prepping them BEFORE you throw off is you're getting paid for them. :thumbup If you go over delivering your duty then claim the Pressure OT ..... I hear the Usual Suspects shouting ... "Cut Off" ... which is obviously the other option, but I know a lot of Posties don't want the conflict and don't mind the extra cash. :cuppa

I put 20% in the frame before I even prep a letter. Always deliver that 20% even if it means cutting off letters. Nothing better than walking up a garden path with just a D2D.
