They want 1000 hours out of ours, that's 27 full time jobs.

They should be made to spend a full week in every DO and out on delivery before making these ridiculous plans. They haven't got a clue.

It all looks plain and simple, easy to cut hours, until they fully realise what the job is.

Pencil pushers coming up with stupidity to justify their own existence.

We’re a hub office and we’re losing 4 full time duties. 5% of the office, so I think these cuts are arbitrary.

That’s nuts. If we lost duties at our place stuff would be getting left in all the time especially with the new builds springing up.

Are these both executive action within the past few days - a random big cheese throwing figures out?
Or a proper ( :left: ) revision?

I hope it is the latter because the word is that they want to remove roughly a third of the hours out of our office. Carnage.

In my opinion why would anybody be bothered how many duties the revision teams are taking out of any offices unless staff are going to lose their jobs which will not happen, clocking in and out machines fitted by end of october people need to realize if you cannot complete your duty without killing yourself book overtime or bring the work back to the office what is the problem.

Of course they are going to, as soon as scan in scan out is up and running they're going to look at over time booked and hours actually worked. We have people in our office who take extra work but ask to be paid 3 hours for 1 hours work. They won't be accepting that for much longer I'd imagine

When I started in early 1996 there were people coming in early, and when I left in early 2021 there were still people coming in early. What I cannot understand is, that back in 1996 it was job and finish so coming in earlier meant you finished earlier.

Now you have to work to your time....it defies any form of common sense why they still do it, but then slag off the very company they perform free labour for...... :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

So what happens when you can’t finish I’ve heard you can’t cut off and you stay out and bank the hours, does this mean come the end of the year you’ve banked 200 hours do they owe you 5 weeks+ time off
