We've been busily creating something new and exciting! So pleased to share a sneaky peak at our new recruitment campaign "For the people".

Why does Royal Mail fear putting white male faces in any of it's output?

We are a proud diverse company, but we are not made up of 97% women, posties of black ethnicity or Asian workers as every Courier or promotional video suggests.

Represent the white male too! It's not a bad thing!

(Yes it's okay to mention this if we're ever going to embrace equality)
Now you know how a minority person felt for the last 50years. You will get over it.
Think your missing the point the corporations are obsessed with woke it doesn't actually help when reality is different.
Surely being “woke” is a good thing?

Completely unrealistic picture of what it’s really like and why do they also show posties carrying bags? I can’t carry any of my bags as far to heavy why don’t they show reality of each loop having 2 full bags in a trolley and a van load of parcels! More rubbish propaganda from the hierarchy

Yes it far better to read the Daily Mail and blame immigrants for everything.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

People who blame immigrants for the ills our country are particularly ignorant and downright thickos. Those who follow the cult of "woke" on the other hand are just batshit crazy.

Should make it more realistic.

Have a postie hobbling down the road looking exhausted in his/her own clothes because he/she can't get any uniform while it pisses down with rain. Then he/she should go to a knackered out and battered van where he/she tries to start it but can't because it's as knackered and worn out. Then have them open the back door to see it full to the brim with parcels and mail bags and have them break down and start crying because of the utter disgrace this company has now become!
They're TRYING to recruit staff mate ..... Don't go telling them the truth! :shhhhh

Better to wait until it's taken a lot of time, effort & MONEY. Then when they turn up at their DO and get thrown in at the deep end (with no idea what they're meant to be doing, or how to do it) ... they'll jack within the first couple of weeks. :arrrghhh

Be a better idea for the CWU to put a "Realistic" advert on TV with some catchy punch line. Perhaps: "Plenty of other crap jobs out there. Don't bother with this one"? :cuppa

I think we should be part of the adverts for save the donkeys as we are just the human version anyway.you could have a bent over postie trying to carry a 15 kilo amazon return next to Andy the clapped out teary eyed donkey.

Falsely portraying the job like that could come back to bite them on the backside in a big way. Imagine all the "youngsters" seeing that thinking it's going to be just another social event at work and then they walk in on day one and see the $hit show the job actually is indoors then the looks of disbelief and horror on their faces when they get back after 4-5hrs of delivering and not even a chance to pop into a bakers or cafe for a coffee and donut or have a conversation with a pensioner and customers ranting at them for late deliveries or not shutting their gate 3 weeks ago. Not to mention hightailing it down a few garden paths after Rocky got out and decided he wanted a piece of you.

Staff turnover is going to skyrocket.........

Good lord the gate obsession boils my piss, I always shut them if they're shut on arrival, if open I leave them open... Somehow it's my job to ensure all gates are shut, even had some woman follow me to another loop to tell me I'd left her gate open and I hadn't even delivered there

no wonder every new starter is leaving after a few day if they think the job is like the way Royal Fail show it
