Has Leave been cancelled because of strikes?

Hi apologies if been asked before but I've had a look at around and couldn't find an answer.

I've asked for a day off next for October since the beginning of August and lino should ok but didn't have it confirmed, since then been told by DOM that because of the dispute, leave that hasn't been booked before strike action that no leave is too be approved til end of dispute.

It's actually reached the point in our DO where people will use a day on the sick, as they know a requested single day will be declined and therefore it will look a little suspect if they take a sick day after having undergone said futile process.

There ya go, Simon just another mitigating factor as to why your workforces' sick rate is three times the national average....

People are able to book single days in my office as long as there is a space and you give 2 weeks notice, no difficulty at all, same as the rest of the year. Annual leave for days that have been called as strike days are declined. We are already quite advanced with booking next years leave too.

My wife is so f&#ked off about the lack of holiday availability, she's told me to get another job or do one!!!!!

She's had 10 weeks in Spain solo, so far this year! .
