In light of today's Royal Mail announcement it seems to be confirmed that Royal Mail will never enter into serious negotiations with the CWU to resolve this dispute.

We cannot continue to be treated this way.
Occasional strike days every 2 or 3 weeks doesn't work.
The only way that we gain the upper hand will be to bring this issue to the forefront of the public attention.

Call a protest at every office before every shift, immediately announce a block of strike days, call for a strike fund.

I for one would rather go to a food bank than have to put up with this shi*e for one more day.

It's my job and I ain't leaving it because a bunch of pri*ks think they can railroad my employment rights.

We used to have many walkouts at our office for all issues.

If you feel intimidated, bullied, harassed, stressed, uncomfortable with any situation you are entitled to leave the site. Whether they want to pay you is a different matter.

Let's face it, you get 100 people walk out very unhappy they would not easily be able to conduct everyone.

There is safety in numbers. And 115,000 is a very big number.

At the end of the day the law is firmly on the side of RM, they have now called for us to go to ACAS which is part of the process. After 12 weeks of dispute you can be fired if they can convince a judge there is no hope of an agreement, You can strike as long as you wish, if you are sacked you have no impact. I don't for a minute think they would sack everyone but the law allows for it to happen.

Anyone who thinks things will not change because we as a union don't like the changes are deluded. RM are the employer at the end of the day and they can legally change our terms and conditions with the proper notice and there is sweet f*** all you can do about it.

Stand strong ! He wants us to believe strike action is a waste of time because he will enforce these changes on us. We need a full weeks strike now enough of this pussy footing around , i would rather be out of a job and see this once great firm crumble than let these tossers win. STAND STRONG PEOPLE !
