It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Bit grim up your way apparently for closures
Difficult to say. Alistair Darling has said no further closures in West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine, which should include me, and there is, apparently, a list of Scottish POs guaranteed not to close, but I have not seen it.
Confirmation from Post Office Limited has not been received, but that is hardly a surprise.
