Naturally getting 140,000 armbands is an enormous challenge.

However, all sites should have had the armbands dispatched to them through our network by close of play today

We have ordered 25% of the smaller size which was the first batch the team could get hold of and 75% of the larger size.

Much as Simple Simon might like the idea someone should have told him that we don't employee any children.

I take it RM got sold a load of "Junior" Armbands in lieu of" Small "Armbands?

Surely it would have been better to ask people if they want an armband to wear, and order adhoq. We got ours this morning, when I left the office after delivery, at least 30%+ were left on the frames. Seems to be a complete waste of money considering Simple 'Team' Simon put out the poverty notice the other day....We can't afford uniforms.....

quite frankly as i don't actually hate the royals but i don't like them and could well do without them, nobody wore a black armband when my mam & dad died, respect is a personal choice and spending a few hundred grand on tat was obviously a publicity stunt to sway public support towards the scumbags, even if i did want to wear one, i'd have bought/made my own on the day, quite frankly if i was joe public i'd find it astonishing that it took a week after hrh died to issue them, even then they are the wrong size, but simple will say he honoured her

When my employer is spending money for them whilst pleading poverty, I have the right to ask questions why they are needed

If people want to wear them ( whilst never wearing one for members of their own family ) then they should be buying them with their own money
