Everyone should just focus on doing their job to the letter of the law. Do your duty, no extras, no overtime keep your head down. Let our highly skilled managers run everything. That'll make a change. Anyway without help from the workers they're more than capable of making a right dog's breakfast of it. The results won't be instant but the backlog will unmanageable by mid October.

Working only to your time is a noble principle but rarely happens in reality.
A lot of people in this firm work for the money and don't really care about much else. Striking is annoying to them, but losing money is even more annoying. I see them come in for extra prep, work days off, do extra bags just to make up their strike losses. This negates the effect of their Striking but it wouldn't matter to them. For all of us who are angry at how we are being treated there is a silent section of the workforce who would accept whatever Royal Mail gives them just for a quiet life and to get back to 'normal'. The managers love them.
