I cant believe how petty and petulant Simon is. No money for new uniform wow! New uniform rollout hasn't even started in my DO. Im a new starter so have the new uniform ( and its crap ) but the other guys in my DO are wearing rags. New starters should have been the last to get the new uniform due to staff turnover. If i decided after a few weeks RM wasnt for me then thats £££s wasted. Simon doesnt have qualitys required to run a company of RM's stature, i'm weeks in the job and even i can see it.

In our depot we have agency staff and hire vans constantly, and the agency staff are getting paid TO DO JOBS THAT DON'T NEED TO BE DONE. Two whole people are being paid just to clear down any IPS that didn't get done and put it in frames, and they don't know what they're doing so they are still at it 6 hours later, when the duty holder or whoever is on those routes the next day could just chuck it in with that mornings IPS (before anyone asks, we've had a lot of buddy and mech through mislabelled in the last 2 weeks and some posties, despite knowing this, leg it out before all the buddy crates are sorted. Manager chucks the mail in the IPS frame then gets a casual to throw it in)

How can simon plead poverty when he is paying his managers £1000 to do their job, hire vans and pay agencies and the work force they supply millions every week to cover work we were covering for minimal cost to the business as from next week up until christmas their hours are uplifted to 40 hours i kid you not they are laughing their socks off hardly any work for them, the manager asked 3 of them to brush the yard one day last week.
