CWU 'urgent' live session tonight 7pm

Post by 49erman »

Sorry if it’s already been posted:

URGENT: Live session tonight at 7pm – next steps in the Royal Mail Group

Dear Members,
The CWU will be holding a crucial live session at 7pm tonight to update you on the next steps in the Royal Mail Group dispute and how we maximise pressure on the company to win a settlement. General Secretary Dave Ward and Deputy General Secretary (Postal) Terry Pullinger will address members and take questions.
It is vital that as many members as possible tune in tonight and urge colleagues to do the same.
Members can watch and engage with the session via our Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter channels or via the direct link below.

Think a lot won’t tune in after the strike being called off let’s hope we’ve got the pay rise of 8-10 percent no strings

The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09

It will be a bit of bluster to raise spirits.

They use Swiss banks while we use food banks

Millions for bosses, pennies for workers

Etc

I think we need do something hardline. Whilst I agreed with cancelling the strike on Friday I do feel as if RM dodged a bullet there…! Not only that it feels like we’ve lost any momentum we’d built up and I think people are growing tired of the lack of any real progress.

More bluster and no sharing of a plan.

Terry saying 1 in 9 work for RM Group? 30 million employed in the UK and the group has 200k max.....nowhere near. NHS has 10 times as many employees as RMG.

Next IA is 18 days away.......

CWU are as bad as RM.

f kin el, that was a total waste of an hour, learnt nothing new, never seen so much waffling.

Lost a lot of confidence in the CWU tonight.

Comments such as we will win, HOW??

Im doing my own work to rule, but on comments theyve made tonight, it sounds like there is no support from the union on that obvious tactic!!
