I can half see Simon telling people on waste space he’s taking tomorrow off just to troll us.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Re: Strike Cancelled 9/9
Emotions are running high. This is just a minor setback in a long fight ahead, don't forget we've still got the T&C industrial action to carry out and that will be a minefield to agree on, trickier than reaching a payrise figure. I accept the CWU were between a rock and hard place after The Queen's passing, and as we have 'Royal' in our title and the Queen's badge on our work gear it makes sense they called off tomorrow's strike esp. after RMT called off theirs. We'll be ready to fight again once the next 10 days are out of the way.

this strike is more than a bloody picket line or how the public perceive us all but about us taking back control of our lives because non of us have an infinite time on this earth.

Public dont give a toss face it ffs i will be in work an why not i havnt the money for a hol like sone pple have posted was on picket line where we should all have been. so dont go in an lose a days leave for what seriously thinking cwu have s**t on us from a great height.ssdd wrote: ↑08 Sep 2022, 21:29I don't think so. If you think this through it really is the best of both worlds. We keep our image and support with the public, whilst we've basically been given the green light to not show for work. I believe it will be a minority who will choose to work, so the impact will not be lost.aiden01 wrote: ↑08 Sep 2022, 21:24Save your last £1 people or going nuts ffs. 3days of strike wasted for f--king what.jagger wrote: ↑08 Sep 2022, 21:13Some of the posts on here are unbelievable.
I’m actually embarrassed with some of people I have to call colleagues.
Not surprised by the likes of Norris, but very surprised by Woody and others.
You do realise that this board is not a cross section of Royal Mail employees? Most have no idea what is really going on. The people on here are more informed and certainly more militant.
I’d bet my last £1 that the vast majority think this is the correct decision.

Re: Strike Cancelled 9/9
Following the very sad news of the passing of the Queen and out of respect for her service to the country and her family, the union has decided to call off tomorrows planned strike action.
Further information and communications will follow.
Nothing followed? CWU gone to bed.
