Let’s hope so, we can’t afford to strike for ever , I think it’s a good move , gives everyone a few weeks to focus minds and start negotiating, not saying that is going to happen but the opportunity is now there.

Didn't I read somewhere that it's pointless having a strike on a Saturday?

Surprised that they have chosen a Saturday, thought Wednesday and Thursday would be better for maximum affect

Good move I think, gives a period of reflection and a chance for more talks, I think this will be the final chance for RM to come to a deal before this starts to get even more serious. Members get a chance to renew their bank balance also. It’s also payday weekend for monthly paid customers.

Good.
Can't see an agreement before then, but hopefully it will start to focus the tiny addled minds of RM top brass.
We mean business. So start talking.

They all need their asses kicked & to be locked in a room until they agree on a sensible solution. We cannot expect to get everything we want but neither can they. With Chritmas coming we need it sorted. How many can afford to strike in December?

they should have thrown a day in on saturday 24th sept to keep the pressure on , as that would roll into the 2 days the next week .
