In Mail Centres there generally is not enough work on sat / sun & mondays.
Sat and Sun is covered by just a 24 strong skeleton staff and it clears every week.
The PSM just eats all the work up.
Striking on weekends would be folly IMO as 5 or 6 managers and a handful of Angard strikebreakers would complete the work everytime.
And yes we have had Angard strike breakers cross our picket lines on both strike days so far.

Yeah we,ve had a few but all the long term angard staff have made themselves unavaiable for shifts on strike days

Disagree, I think people will want to enjoy Xmas after the worries with the pandemic and the cost of living crisis. That’s one time of year you can relax and get the family together…..
