Let’s keep the one day strikes going every week. As I am earning an absolute fortune in overtime by going in early and working my days off and taking parcels after my shifts.
By this time next year I’ll be a millionaire!!!!!!

I would like to know what are goals are. I understand that we want more than 2% but how much.
Later starts and annualised hours, are we totally against these or are we fighting for the proposals to be watered down.

On pay: a no- strings decent increase
On terms : a negotiated modernisation agenda based on Pathway to Change.

That's the CWU position as I understand it. And it is perfectly reasonable, unlike RM's plans to turn us into Royal Maileroo.

The terms will be the strings. I can’t see us getting a pay increase without the strings. I know that the union are not going to say exactly what terms that we would be willing to accept but it would be good to have an idea of what they definitely won’t accept.

Tuff for who, me or the union. I’m pretty sure that there are other union members wondering “what are we fighting for” and is it genuinely achievable. A decent payrise and better terms than those proposed is a little vague.

Voting to give a mandate does not mean it was not done without reservation. Moreover, if your elected representatives are not doing the job well, then we should have the power of Recall.

Lots of those Redwallers voted for Bojo but it does not mean they have to put up with him being terrible at his job; and not delivering on his levelling up.

We cannot keep striking for more pay without talks because whatever we end up securing will not make up what what we would have lost.

We will have to change on the terms of the Employer not that of the Union; we cannot force Royal Mail to dance to our tunes and talk about a Pathway to Change that is not delivering...

The money part is the easiest but I think most of the extra will come as a lump sum not inflation busting percentage increase.

Lastly, we still all need a profitable royal mail not a destroyed one!

The Union got my vote on pay but a reluctant yes on the terms because they rejected all the proposals for change - unbelievable!

Why will they not look at the books? Are they afraid or something or dont have anyone competent in finances? They see the books and can point to RM, you have the money and then can come up with a ballpark of what they want for us

I am striking blindly here - it pathetic just shouting strike strike and disruption and loss of business...

The RM Board and Execs are shameless giving themselves and managers bonuses and then shares but are we surprised in Today capitalist Britain. The top bosses and companies all do it - sadly,bwe are now a PLC. * Just to reference clashcityrocks - we accepted the privatisation without much of a fight and took the shares

why do some people equate a strike even one strike as winning this not about winning but about terms we work for and lose or gain recompense for and settle terms upon in the end only two people can end a war.

I agree this one day strike here and there is nothing to royal mail, there probably laughing at us thinking they fools are losing a day a week and causing no affect to us, better off going at least 3 days a week, even 14 days in a row would soon get them round the table, can't see much talking happening with a day a week they wont take us seriously with that

i dont think they are laughing as the strike is strong it is but an appetiser for xmas.

This is just not true as even 1% extra with say 20 years service left will give you a minimum of £4800 extra in your wages and that 1% will always keep pushing up your wages.

How is it causing no effect mc's are rammed plus there is a 2day strike next week. 14 days in a row wow now your having a laugh ffs who can afford that.you do realise there is a cost of living crisis at the minute most people are struggling with 1 or 2 days yet you want 14 in a row.
