Yep. Some good support from the public too as they walked past.

My day off, but have seen a couple of strike breakers in RM vans out and a Parcelforce van. :mad

Day off today will message one of the lads later to find out what the aftermath of yesterday was, word on the street is only one of our "valued colleagues" plus a manager went in so will be interesting to see what work they got sent and how much got left.

Today was as it must have been been in "the old days". A few oversized and the odd tracked and the rest were flats. I collected more items than delivering oversized! It was so refreshing not to have to photograph every other piece of tat on the doorstep. Sigh.

Easy Saturday!! Now let's all enjoy a couple of days off and get back into it again on Tuesday. Next week will be interesting I think.

Fairly busy. Took my lapsing and brought it all back along with a few bits of my own round.

Finished bang on time.

Started off with the DOM warning people before the Strike that on Saturday, "Nobody will be going home early, because there's going to be no mail" (which I thought was just childish and obviously only payback for going on Strike). :speak to the hand

Then today it changed to, "Nobodie's getting paid any pressure OT today" because we had a "Reasonable" ammount of work, including quite a lot of Tracked that had been brought over from the nearest Hub. There was enough to keep us out to just short of Contracted Hours. :cuppa

Brought a few bundles back, claimed 45 minutes O/T. Mountains of undelivered stuff all over the office.

Absolutely shite. Like a Christmas Wednesday, probably worse. They’ve clearly been holding stuff back at the mail centre, I assume to hammer us when we return from
Strike.
