Just out of interest, does anyone know roughly the split between section B, section C and the DC plan, among current employees?

My office has roughly 100 employees and going by the seniority list, and assuming everyone was enrolled into the pension from day one, the split is:

Section A = 0
Section B = 3%
Section C = 38%
RMDCP = 59% - some with at least 5 years in the RMDCP may have joined the DBCBS(section F of the RMPP) instead.

In practice there are probably some who initially joined a pension but have since opted out, and there may be some who've opted out completely. So those percentages may be a little lower.

I have no idea whether that is mirrored across the company!

Not sure but isn't this information in the RM Pension Account Statements (somewhere in there i think)

The RMSPS and RMPP reports and accounts have figures relating to how many members are active, deferred and pensioners. But as far as I can recall, there is nothing relating to how many are in each section.
