The utter disrespect for all of us is astounding ! Theyv taken the profits out of the business that weve help generate now want us to generate the next lot of profits by working twice as hard again and accepting anything and everything.

A real kick in the back side for all of us i cant quite believe it

The replies are all solid though. Not sure what they thought they'd achieve with the thinly veiled threats.

The problem is theyve made their position clear regarding the finances and cant now be seen to be budging from it. Moving from the position of they cant afford any more would confirm they were lying in the first place.

So realistically the best we are going to get is 5.5% without some of the change proposals.

If the situation is that serious why are they still paying out dividends, bonuses and share offers?

Those are not really the actions of a business taking the situation seriously.

I imagine someone is now telling SuperSi that the replies are all from "a few disgruntled posties"

The seriousness of the situation. Mmmmm
Why are we still offering house collections for free.
Just asking.

I imagine Simon thinks if it's free, the people who'd use a parcel locker or drop off point with one of our "rivals" (you know, the ones we give work to and deliver their discarded packets for free) will flock to Royal Mail in their droves, just in time for that shareholders bonus in October

So serious that super Si and the boys and girls are giving our work to a competitor rather than realize their insulting offer is unacceptable!

Genuinely believe it is best to simply turn our backs on Mr Thompson.

Stop twittering to him , come off work place, leave him gibbering to himself.

I was asked how to post for twitter links

If you have the direct link to the tweet then copy and paste it into a "post reply" box

Then use the Tweet link above, whilst the link you pasted is highlighted

The above tweet is

https://twitter.com/royalmailnews/statu ... 4329145346

the link is highlighted

when it looks like this
highlighred.PNG
then press submit - it does take a few seconds for the actual tweet to appear.
