On a walk I did last week, one customer had 3 or 4 items every day, the "best" being 12 items on Saturday, with 2 of them being massive, and of course they were at the top of a block of flats. Cheers Si!.

Just like every other “idea” the people in charge of this company have, it’s a year behind everybody else starting to do it and then poorly implemented just when the novelty and potential to make money starts to fade.
See also next day delivery.
Can’t wait to see what’s next from the clueless buffoons in charge.
Team-I’m feeling curious-could we start delivering groceries a year after Amazon start doing it?

I see they've also just reduced the cost of buying tracked postage online to the same price as buying 1st & 2nd class in a post office, you can't drop them off at a post office though, only a DO, oh hang on they've cut the caller's office opening times so free collection by us it is then.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Why’s she so pleased? Not getting that in her bag.
They should all come with labels from the DO that morning. Too many customers saying they were prompted that a label would be provided and then no record of one at the Do. They end up getting shipped with a surcharge to the receiver.

Have they actually used 'The Rise of The Sidehustler' on their advert?
Sidehustling that is on the rise, in part due to stagnation of wages and a cost of living crisis?
They truly have no shame.

Had two collection points in one day.
Collection #1, the customer was expecting a label, no label.
Collection #2, two parcels, customer expecting labels. I brought two labels, with different addresses. The customer didn't know which was going where.

'Everyone knows when their postie delivers so it’s really convenient to arrange for them to collect anything that needs to be sent or returned at the same time,'
So why is it when I get to a customer to collect something they are either A. Haven't got the item ready
or B. Still in effing bed.

Had two today in the same block of flats. First one didn’t have the label printed as she had no ink in the printer. Second one I took five printed labels and she give me back five awkward boxes to carry. Lucky they had a lift and was at the end of my delivery as I wouldn’t have got them in my HCT. I can only see more people using it to it lucky I have plenty of time to spare oh wait…
