Strike days on rest Day...are we paid?

As title states, the strike days are on a few of us rest days.
Do we still get paid as we are not due to work anyway?

How can you strike if it's your day off!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Those who will have the Wednesday and then following Thursday as their day off have lucked out
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

You don't get paid if you're on strike on your rest day because... you don't get paid on your rest day ever. :chuckle

I havent seen the announcement, is it all functions for the 4 days or delivery one day etc,?

If you work 5 days in a week then you will get a full week's wage.

I’m
Lucky day off on Wednesday then following week Thursday! Also on weeks holiday on 26 th August so will have a nice two days off when strike is on Friday

Yes absolutely, i dont understand that mentality, one minute yes im in favour of strike action , next minute checking rest days , leave , or i will go sick .
No one wants to lose money but we were forced into this .
