If that's going to be the case expect more complaints that we didn't attempt to deliver in the first place.GRS wrote: ↑22 Jul 2022, 20:00I wouldn't have thought you would leave a P739. As the above seems to relate to Tracked items then customers would have received an electronic update on the item. If they were out surely the message they receive will say something along the lines of "We were unable to deliver your parcel today and will attempt delivery the next working day". One problem I see being if nobody is at home on the first attempt then they are just as unlikely to be there on the following days if they wok regular hours.

Fair point but I would think we will be made to use the yellow LAT cards that say we will try again the next day. As others have said I have people on my duty who are never home and prefer to collect from a CSP, it’s only the tech savvy who know about “inflight requests”. I even have 1 address this week where I know they are away on holiday and still ordering parcels, under this new system they will probably be RTS after 3 attempts where as at the moment I can have the 739 already written so they can collect when they return.

Pretty bad news for those working in the CPS, under redeployment due to long term ill health.
Most days we are very steady with customers printing labels for click and drop parcels / amazon returns.

I guess the thought that you might have to try and deliver the parcel for 3 consecutive days, if you can't deliver it on the first day, could well encourage more door stepping and throwing the parcel over a gate etc, as the last thing you'll want to do his take it back to the DO.

The 3 day redelivery thing is not part of this current CSP shake up. I would suggest contacting a rep if you have been instructed to do anything other than P739 an item. I suspect it is one RODs grand plan to make his 1st time delivery numbers better. Business as usual for now just with a reduced window for customers to collect their items

So the union wants us to vote yes in the next ballot to "protect terms and conditions".
Yet the same union has agreed to an attack on the terms and conditions of CSP staff due to cutting CSP opening hours.
What other "agreements" with the union will come out of the woodwork before the next ballot is complete?

If you actually read the LTB the union stopped RM reducing the hours further than what they have done. Yes I do agree it should have gone to dispute though.greengiant wrote: ↑23 Jul 2022, 07:35So the union wants us to vote yes in the next ballot to "protect terms and conditions".

Evri already do this , well they use to , now they hide it behind wheelie bins or anything that may keep it out of sight.TopperGas wrote: ↑22 Jul 2022, 21:36I guess the thought that you might have to try and deliver the parcel for 3 consecutive days, if you can't deliver it on the first day, could well encourage more door stepping and throwing the parcel over a gate etc, as the last thing you'll want to do his take it back to the DO.
Slightly better than Amazon who just doorstep and jump back in their van before you even get to the door.

Aaah, the old 'It's not as bad as it could've been' spiel. We'll be hearing that in a couple of months too I feel. Our dim altered our callers office hours 2 weeks ago, and took out the sa's without giving notice. Should he of done this?

It requires a month's notice by either party to withdraw from an SA agreement.

His opening paragraph is rather strange. What's parcel collect and bring my label got to do with first time delivery?

Is there a phone number or contact I can get in touch with about this as hes getting away with murder at our place. He canceled our sa's with immediate effect and said he didn't have to give notice. He as also altered the callers office hours aswellWoody Guthrie wrote: ↑23 Jul 2022, 15:55It requires a month's notice by either party to withdraw from an SA agreement.
