Edinburgh Mail Centre : Dirty protest in the toilets?

Post by POSTMAN »

:funneh

Apparently there has been some sort of ‘dirty protest’ going on at our Mail Centre, in the gym shower and the men’s toilet cubicle, ie, so bad it’s obviously deliberate not accidental.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Had this once many years ago, smeared on the walls by some scumbag, never found out who it was but I think the cleaner refused to touch it and they had to get some specialist mob in dressed in HasMat suits.

We had the same at Bristol a while back, gym and toilets. In more recent times it was sabotage with plastic bottles, shirts and trousers down the toilet, which apparently costs £10,000 per visit to unblock. During pandemic had to use managers toilets upstairs which I thought would be better. The floor was sticky wherever you walked. Nasty.

Yeah, at our place there is an individual who does it in the middle of the toilet floor. Not an accident :(
The last incident was at Christmas.

Also, some right animals used to insist on leaving used toilet roll on the floor outside of cubicles.

I've seen stuff that you'd not expect from a toddler. Not just the blokes either :(

No used condoms on the conference room table this year (so far)

Used to be me and my mate's job to talk to the cleaners and decide if we needed the specialist cleaning company.

Happened at our place once- used toilet paper was found "adhered" to the cubicle wall. Cleaner was in tears, apparently.

I couldn't believe that someone had done this- felt like we had a psycho in our midst.

It happens virtually every week in Manchester. It's all over the toilet seats floor and sometimes put very neatly on paper and placed on the built in cisterns
