When this highly personal view of objective reality was first shat into existence Si did in fact mention that the 80% were absent for 1 day or less.

Royal Mail need to be looking at why people go sick.

Most Posties I know are walking half a marathon a day. No wonder we’re knackered. We’ve all got bad backs, hips, knees, and ankles.

You can’t compare our sick levels to someone sat in an office or driving a bus.

… I also suspect this £250m figure might’ve been cherry picked from a Covid year.

Happy to give out £400m to shareholders who contribute NOTHING though.

We've also got staff off with non work related illnesses, this is what happens when you have an ageing work force, you only have to look at the number of staff on Workplace who are celebrating completing 30+ years service, probably staff at Amazon etc are celebrating 5 years service!
