You need to go to Specsavers :cuppa
Where does it say on any of that document (which is not from HQ BTW) that delivery will move to 9-5 or 10-6 or even a 1pm or any of the other nonsense spouted on here.

The LDC is notorious throughout the union for scaring the members to promote their own agenda. To be honest it's become rather tiresome. Same s**t different day.

You don't know what impact removing the planes might have on delivery, neither does the LDC because it will depend what corresponding changes may or may not be made to the USO and absolutely nobody on here knows what might happen to that in the next 12 months.

What we do know is that for some reason you are fixated on delivery office start times, why I have no idea.

They are not actually removing all the planes they are just cutting down on how many they use.

We are an LAT office, currently there's about 4 part-time duties doing LAT's, surely what they mean is get rid of these dedicated duties and put more hybrid duties in ?

What they mean is giving the lat parcels to the walks going out there everyday anyway- hence later (1pm) start times.

Get your head out of your arse. Just the removal of the North<>South UK ones is going to have a big affect on when that work arrives at the inward MC. Given the relative speeds of a plan and a lorry, it's going to arrive at the inward MC at least a couple of hours later, so we'll have to push all dispatch times to the DOs back. That'll cause DO start times to be pushed back

Martin Walsh has said that there's a possibility of it happening, and he's one of the higher ups in the union. I'd believe him, more than any bullshit you come out with

There aren't enough to justify that.

Woody the words Royal Mail have put in writing is to advance their greener operation they would want to withdraw mainland air network and transfer it to rail and road. They also state that they would require later start times and longer delivery spans.

You can spin it all you like but that is from Royal Mail to the CWU in way of a pay offer with strings.

Define later start times?
And how can delivery spans be longer without increasing peoples contracts?

Working the same hours over less days per week would be one way, decreasing the amount of time spent in the office is another.
