If people started getting drafted for the army, any chance royal mail workers would be spared? People still need their deliveries. :chuckle

Would we have to lapse every 6th soldier?
Would our equipment be as bad as the PDAs?
Would we finally be able to order boots?
Would people turn up for battle an hour early, skip their rations and still moan about the pay?
Is the army represented by the CWU and Terry?
So many questions...

There were actually postal regiments during the World War part one.

This apparently is The Post Office Rifles although they look far too well organised to be posties.

Don't let Terry read this, it will give him ideas!
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.

Beware history ahead.

Postman and sorters over the age of 35 made the Reserved Occupation list 1939 used during WW2. Page 26 of PDF, Page 25 of original http://anguline.co.uk/Free/Reserved.pdf
