Full time to part time
Am 62 and thinking of going from full time 37hrs to part time 30hrs and not sure what Royal Mails contributions would be. Currently I pay 6% and they pay 13.6%. Are RM,s contributions pro rate or set at 13.6%. Have been with RM for nearly 11 years and choosing part time 30 hrs I will get duty on re pick with my seniority.

Re: Full time to part time
With nearly 11 years service, I assume you first joined the RMDCP and then took the opportunity to pay into the DBCBS instead following the 4 Pillars agreement in 2018, hence the 6% & 13.6% contributions?
Going from full time to part time will not affect the percentage either you or RM pay, they will stay at 6% and 13.6%. But if you're earning less then the actual contributions in £'s will obviously reduce.

Don't forget you'll still make pens contribution for the first 7 hrs of overtime you do ,if you do any.

Re: Full time to part time
I could be wrong but I think that only applies to the RMDCP, not the DBCBS.
