Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Out on delivery today I'm walking down one of my roads and I see our large packet driver going to one of the houses. While he's there another one of our lads turns up in another RM van to deliver a packet to another house on the same road. Plus, after completing that loop, I and my partner had to go back to the same road again to do three drops that were too big to take on the loop. What must people think when they see this? We just look amateurish. Complete waste of time and resources and it's happening every day.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
large packet driver ?, "other van driver?" van of your own?......... ! lucky you, we didnt have an oversize packet driver at christmas, and its still christmas volumes, two duties in a corsa combi with eight loops each, plus oversize and many a squashed bananas to eat for walking lunch. people told not to book o/t for breaks after working them, you would think "thanks for working your break" would be nice in a normal world. record profits too, really ?!! WTF.

Don't know if it's just down to roadworks on the motorways but our work seems to be coming in later, we're back to failing a lot. If it's not down to roadworks then I reckon within a year they'll make the final dispatch time, our start and finish times and the start and finish times of the local DOs half an hour to an hour later

We are at the stage of just leaving every none tracked parcel, don’t know what happens to them. Plus we are leaving loops in just so we can finish on time. It’s worse now than the build up to Xmas.

The Tracked is still going most days when it should be all on the bays for the drivers to load onto their lorries and head off to the DOsWolf91 wrote: ↑16 Jan 2022, 19:55Wow. Took a day off.
Treated myself to cardamom coffee and an almond croissant for breakfast.
Washed the kitchen floor and bleached the sink.
Then sat down to watch the share price continue to fall.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
easy today.
asked before i went if I could take some bits from a failed round, as well as the oversized from my partner's side who goes out with a LWT.
no problem.
