Customer collections 5 items?

Is the 5 item limit per household a thing of the past one guy in ours had 12 to pick up from one address.or was he at the wind up??

No limit now, but RM website says if the customer has more than 20 items they should look at getting a business account.

Your answer is out of context with the thread, we're talking about a 'medium' parcel here on COLOD - it's 20kg max.
We (deliveries) wouldn't collect over 20kg.

We (deliveries) wouldn't collect over 20kg.

"Small", "Medium" and "Large" don't really exist, only large and small, small being anything that can fit into a DBF. Don't know what the size limit is for items going through a PSM but I'd imagine that it will eventually become the threshold between small and large

Don't think PF will have the capacity so in practice you're liable to get 30Kg ones. PF have been offloading stuff to RM for over a year

I would hope that customers wanting a collection will automatically get one from the relevant carrier, i.e RM or PF, when they input the weight of their parcel.

PF may well offload larger/heavier parcels to RM to deliver, but we're not talking about deliveries!

I think it'll be down to how much a 30Kg parcel is for PF compared with other couriers. If it's really expensive then I think RM would rather it stay with RM rather than risk losing traffic to other couriers

If i rember corectly when introducted the Max weight of 2nd class items was about 2lbs , over that it was either 1st cl or parcel
