That's an easy day! We're 7am till 6pm if we're clearing.dohnut wrote: ↑22 Dec 2021, 21:00Gotta say this job has nevwr been great, but now it's relentless, I don't stop from the minute I get in till I walk out the gates, got home at 4.30, after starting at 7, Im failing to see any upside to this job anymore. Even the pay isn't great for what you do physically.

Depressingly busy...like Christmas but without the overweights drivers.
So many we were given a van each and just took tracked and ovies one frame each.
'Orrible.

Walked into the office today and it was bedlam. I thought it was the week before Christmas. Single frames each with 4 drop bags and a york overflowing with oversized. Some addresses had 4/5 oversized each.Mickeybrowneyes wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022, 19:22Brutal today;

Don’t know about other DOs but when I got back yesterday I have never seen so many full sacks stacked up from collections, there were hundreds of them on yorks and that was at 3pm, can’t imagine what it was like at 5pm. It’s going to be a very busy few days....
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Massively busy just about every section last night. The last of the Xmas casuals have gone. Think RM shot themselves in the foot, not keeping the xmas casuals on until the end of this week

A day of drudgery with two days mail in the village of despair.

Our 1st day back today after New Years… ridiculously busy… yorks apon yorks of tracked and oversize… 90 mins late out.. not a single letter delivered, that’s a 1st for me and vast majority off the office… few hero’s cleared everything ‘it’s not the customers fault’ rather them than me

Same here. Instructions were to clear the letters on one frame and clear the trackeds for the whole duty. Quickly became apparent the former wouldn't be happening when both our indoor scans exceeded 100. Worst I've ever seen it. Fingers crossed for snow.combo_king wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 19:37Our 1st day back today after New Years… ridiculously busy… yorks apon yorks of tracked and oversize… 90 mins late out.. not a single letter delivered, that’s a 1st for me and vast majority off the office… few hero’s cleared everything ‘it’s not the customers fault’ rather them than me
