Prices usually climb just before the dividend date and drop afterward.
Dropped quite a bit to £4.80 today. At one point late afternoon today my HL account was showing prices at £3.90, not sure what happened there, by the time I’d deposited £500 into my account to buy some at that price they’d gone back up to £4.84
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

If I were to sell any shares between now and 12th January I would still be paid the dividend for any shares I sell as they have gone ex dividend?

Yes, as we've now passed both the ex-dividend date and the record date, we can sell and still get the dividend in January.
