Re: 18 offices 'officially' in trouble? : EDIT 2 Dec Now 20!
Interesting on Workplace, there are a few posties and even managers who have put their head up and have posted about the massive failures they have in their office, or for managers, lack of vans, PDA's etc.( Managers have never mentioned mass failures btw from what I have seen. )
It is very easy to see where the posties/managers work.
Just wondering, are the communications team on there flagging this up anywhere, because the big suits, Simon, Nick, and others do not respond to their posts.
EDIT: Simon does the odd few with his email me speech...
I do not see responses, later on as well like , "oh, because of my post on here things were being looked at at my DO ..." etc etc
Head in the sand?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Coatbridge DO (ML5)
Coatbridge DOM
After a challenging couple of weeks, Coatbridge is finally finding its feet again after a COVID outbreak. My team have worked round the clock to process and deliver an astronomical amount of mail. Their efforts haven’t gone unnoticed after receiving excellent feedback from the local MP.
It’s now time to focus on peak and deliver the best Christmas for all of our customers. My rural seasonal post box is already in the Christmas spirit.

A bit vague, very light on details. Anyone from Coatbridge care to chime in with the details of how this was accomplished?

Size of the frame isn’t really telling of how heavy the duty is though. A big frame with lots of flats and close together terraced houses might be quicker and easier to deliver than lots of detached houses with long driveways.

If we had a larger image then we could make a rough count of the number of slots in the frame which would give a rough idea of the number of DPs. A rural is likely to have less DPs due to the travel times between villages and DPsNew5rainboo wrote: ↑05 Dec 2021, 06:23Size of the frame isn’t really telling of how heavy the duty is though. I guess "worked around the clock" gives you a clue, they've probably allowed unlimited o/t and brought in extra staff to help clear the backlog, the real issue though is not clearing the backlog it's making sure it doesn't just build back up once management move on to the next office "in trouble".

Can you get them to tell us what else the Shock Troops did to make it look like the D.O. was clear for the MPs photo op?
