I used Click and Drop to pay for and print out a label to go on a large letter being sent to Germany, standard airmail.
The QR square and bar code looked OK but the hand scanner at the local PO failed to read or recognise either. The label was flat and not covered with sellotape. The chappie took the parcel and said it will be OK as the label shows it has been paid for.
I am just a little concerned as to wether this is correct, will the Royal Mail be able to accept the parcel into its delivery system if there is a code reading fault ?
Thanks
Brian.

Re: QR scan failed but package accepted. Will it arrive ?
We get this regularly at our office where the QR code won't scan. The item still gets processed, it just means that there may be gaps in the tracking, or no tracking at all.Brian L wrote: ↑01 Dec 2021, 17:25I used Click and Drop to pay for and print out a label to go on a large letter being sent to Germany, standard airmail.

Sometimes there seems no logical reason for why it won't scan, but the smaller print ones seem to struggle the most if there are no other issues.

Many thanks for the reply and reassuring that the package "is in the system" OK.
