Edgeware DO first unit to deploy Structural Revision in the SDL achieved a fair and balanced workload for everyone

Post by POSTMAN »

The unit was the first unit to deploy Structural Revision in the SDL. The team’s biggest objective was to create a fair and balanced workload for everyone. It was so pleasing to hear today that they achieved it!

Unit has made a gradual improvement in last 10 weeks including delivering 100% USO three days last week despite 5 vacs and improvement of 14 efficiency points pre-deployment (the team is working hard to achieve target).

Finally a good feedback on DILO too.
Well done team and thank you - please keep going

Good for you Edgeware. Pat on the back. You must be the only office where the revision is working. Ours is a shambles.

"fair and balanced workload" - I presume the frame in the photo will be losing a wing or two.

Who has decided there is a fair and balanced workload? Will they be overstaffed when the 5 vacancies are filled?

Will that prep frame likely be for 1 or 2 walks?

I think that's where the 'in-flight' redirections are controlled from. :chuckle
Anyway, would DOM's Flight Deck not be more appropriate?

This a base and 6 frame
An RM2000 base with 6 additional wings, will be 2 walks, usually CDV duties. In theory its to save space within DOs and to improve efficiency. In practise its all double slots and a nightmare to prep D2Ds into, all very long to tie up and arrange parcels.
They were trying to get these into our area last year 6 months into Covid but got stopped as could not guarantee social distancing

And what happens when the poor bugger that throws the walk in is 5ft nothing?
