Does anyone know if one should receive the latest holiday pay if you have received payment before?
As there is resentment within some that the people who have received this payment before got paid again, yet they themselves did not get a penny.

I put in an ACAS early conciliation claim when this all kicked off about 2018/2019 and got paid through that process.
Then I've been paid backpay through this RM/CWU agreed process.
What peeves me (as well as CWU agreeing to this crappy new process) is people complaining who
couldn't be arsed to put in an early conciliation claim 2 years ago, said they were going to wait for the process,
didn't avail themselves of the information that was available on here or elsewhere to put in a claim and
then are moaning about the crappy process that has been agreed when it has failed them - and STILL can't
be bothered to put a new ACAS claim in!
The message to those 'resenters' is put a claim in for your next holiday!

I put a claim in back in 2019 and got paid out. I left it since then and got holiday pay the other week in my wage like many did. On my holiday pay section on the app it simply says 0 for the 2019 period that I’d already claimed myself.
Very much doubt people will have been paid out before then paid out again for the same period - although I’m sure there’ll be a few who slipped the net and will have 2 lots of payments for the same period.
I totally get it’s not a straightforward system and people couldn’t guess a year or two what would happen but people have to arm themselves with info - I’m tired of trying to explain to my colleagues the criteria, bored of going through how the 8 hour process works, and then having to tell them to get the app (most of them have smartphones) and the usual comments about why should I get the app. Then back to square one, moaning to me at work because it’s not fair they’ve not got a penny. Yet just like on social media, plenty complaining about the unfairness of it (I 100% agree) but few actually doing anything about it.

Exactly. I know it’s easy for me to sit here having been paid out criticising others but I had put the work in to claim previously (albeit with some help from the union) and I read every damn release from Terry and co, I asked questions (here, social media and of our union rep). I’m sure making a claim can seem overwhelming to some but it really is employee friendly, especially since the government were forced to remove the fees.
The link takes you through all the steps, including the need to go through the free ACAS conciliation stage first (which is just a back and forth with ACAS doing all the talking). No specialist legal knowledge is required. In most cases, the complaint is ‘I have regularly worked overtime but this is not reflected in my holiday pay. My average pay over the 12 months before my holiday week was £x but I only got paid £x. I therefore claim the difference.’

put copies of LTB's out etc., if people spent as much time doing the research and claiming as they did moaning they'd be all
over it. Trouble is you can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink!!
