Heard from one guy I know in a different office - who's going through a structural revision - and it sounds like the case there. Big loops using LWT. Don't know about other offices.

I wonder how many will use the trolleys, even if a revised walk is based around it. My gut feeling is that it'll be about 15% max

Ours was apparently based on using trollies, however when our Rep pointed out to the planner that using trollies can slow a postie down quite a bit, this information didn't seem to make sense to the planner, hence an utter shambles. Had 5 doing my duty today, still no where near clearing the back log

One thing for sure is that Royal Mail never, ever do anything right.

They will never make people start on time.

They will never make people take their breaks.

They will never make people use delivery equipment (trolleys)

Revisions. = NO input from the gals n guys who do the job day in day out , nothing ! Dosent make any logical sense at all . Offices all over the country miles worse than they were before , why?

I had to use one everyday for eighteen months while covid restriction were in place, pushing can eventually hurt your wrist and shoulder whilst pulling can result in lower and middle back discomfort,

Why on earth would your rep point out to a planner that a LWT slows a postie down?

Walks should be planned and tested using one, not tear assing around as quick as possible, surely?

I think that the planner didn't understand the impact of using a trolley on a delivery,Rep was trying to make him aware before the stupidly big jobs were implemented. Tested?!! Last time any duties were actually tested in our office was over 20yrs ago!! Anyhoo duties are now far too big,even if we could break the loops down to use a pouch, no tear assing

Well always some tool starting early in their own time and going hell for leather,they never learn
