RMCtv : Holiday Pay - On the People App : View what you are owed on the App
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I've totalled up my overall overtime hours for the past two years, but anyone know how you calculate this into Holiday Pay? So I can check against the app's results.
Also on some payslips it will note overtime for a week commencing previous to the payslip your viewing, so do you base the overtime on when you get it paid i.e. that weeks payslip or the w/c date it's referring too?

Re: RMCtv : Holiday Pay - On the People App : View what you are owed on the App
I work 25 hours per week and have been doing 10 hrs pw overtime for the past year. Was looking forward to check the app to see how much I was owed but it has nothing extra . I’ve been told that the money is only due if the overtime is helping on someone else’s round... I am gutted as not only do I lose out on annual leave/sick pay as I get the basic 25hrs but now this too. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks

My General manager told me that but he said he wasn’t too sure cause it’s not him sorting it out and it’s central London office but that’s what he thinks

That's wrong. Overtime is overtime. Most OT I do is early prep for the walk I'll be taking out and I've been paid about what I expected. The app should tell you how much OT they think you've done each month if it's wrong in there then speak to your manager, you are entitled to the money.Keepthefaith wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 17:06I work 25 hours per week and have been doing 10 hrs pw overtime for the past year. For people who can see their holiday pay on the app, can you see the holiday pay calculation for April to September 2021 as well?

Re: RMCtv : Holiday Pay - On the People App : View what you are owed on the App
I think this round is just the 2 years back pay. April to September 2021 will be paid in November according to the FAQs in other thread:
When are the interim payments due?
It is confirmed that the dates for the first interim payment covering the period 29th March 2021 to 26th September 2021 will be paid on 30th November 2021 for monthly salaries and 26th November 2021 for weekly paid. Interim payments will be made to all those meeting the regularity threshold and are not dependent upon the withdrawal of an individual Employment Tribunal claim.
