death in service

Post by haarob »

My husband worked for royal mail and passed away suddenly recently, we have 3 children 2 are over 18 but all still at home.

My question is what is classed as education , the middle one is autistic but at uni, should i put him on the form and does it really matter if there is one or two children on it as its just the 2x pay for dependents regardless of how many.

does anyone know roughly how long these things take to sort out as we are also in the middle of a no fault eviction and need to know what i am going to have coming in for the future.

thank you in advance for any advice

Sorry for your loss. I can't offer any advice other than pointing you to another recent thread that has a little more information: viewtopic.php?t=100768
Hopefully, someone else will be able to give you more of an idea.
